    Good Grief.

    Wow, some people say that the regret they feel after having sex was rape. Saying exactly as I am saying that the REGRET was rape. As if they had no say beforehand, when they did have a say, they were never forced to have sex. They made the conscious decision to have sex, they wanted to.

    My point is, some one I know had sex with someone she thought she liked and then went around saying that he raped her.

    She said that she had sex with him because she wanted to know if she would stick around with him or to stay with another guy she said she really liked and was getting into a relationship with. The second guy caught wind of her adventures (she told him) he told her to leave him alone and that she broke his heart by sleeping around.

    So the rejection of one guy means she got raped by the other one she willingly had sex with.

    I asked her where she got the idea that it was rape, her response blew my mind.

    “XX said he loved me. I feel used. X doesn’t want to be with me because I had sex with XX.”

    (XX = dude she had sex with. X= dude that told her to fuck off)

    I asked if she had felt this way about other guys before, the regret thing and she said that she didn’t.

    ===========================

    I guess somehow not enjoying sex one has CONSENTED TO HAVE, is rape. I guess being weirded out by someone you had sex with is rape.  WTF. I don’t think it was an enjoyment thing either. I think she was testing the waters, I guess.

    All I got out of this was : ‘I really wanted to be with X but I wanted to have sex with XX to find out if I wanted to be with X.’

    At any rate because of her rumor spreading spree she’s getting sued for ‘ruining his reputation and lost wages.’  Oh well.

    I know she has deeper issues, I don’t know how she can go around having sex with all these people trying to grasp a sense of acceptance or love FROM THEM, rather than loving herself FIRST. We can easily speculate as to why but I won’t.

    Look, it is not wrong to have sex and enjoy sex, to have lots and lots of sex with many people. BUT THERE ARE RESPONSIBILITIES to adhere to, there are RISKS from rampant sex-escapades.  Risks to the mind, to the body. Of course, there is the LAW to consider. Carelessness is bad. Remember, someone can make a mistake ONCE and the rest of their lives will be destroyed and sadly maybe those around them.

    =======================================================

    Regret is a negative conscious and emotional reaction to personal past acts and behaviors. Regret is often expressed by the term “sorry.” Regret is often felt when someone feels sadness, shame, embarrassment, depression, annoyance or guilt after committing an action or actions that the person later wishes that s/he had not done or having not committed.

    Yes, there is coercion.

    Yes, there is mental abuse.

    I am not talking about that.

    Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:-Knowing when to come in out of the rain; – Why the early bird gets the worm;- Life isn’t always fair; – And maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies, don’t spend more than you can earn and adults, not children, are in charge. His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights,I Want It Now,Someone Else Is To Blame,I’m A Victim.Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
