    Alessa’s Sick Room

Every single time I’ve entered Alessa’s sick room my heart dropped. From what Heather remembered… It reminded me of actual ritual abuse that exists in reality. There is a real terror, real people have been treated this way in real life. They’ve been abused and had all kinds of horrible things inflicted on them all in the name of some warped religion or some asshole wants power and brain washes people. Some sadistic cycle. And of course Heather remembered what happened to her in the sick room, what was done to her and why it was done to her.  A seven year old wanting to die.

    Part 2
    Part 3

    Power of the Town

Just what is the effect of the mysterious power of this town that was revered as a sacred place?

The shift to the otherworld that takes place outside the town depends entirely upon a unique power. The power that absorbs and reflects what people hold in their hearts is established as being exclusive to the town of Silent Hill. – Hiroyuki Owaku

Silent Hill was once revered as a sacred place. That power has been completely twisted over the course of history.

Originally Silent Hill was a holy place to the area’s former inhabitants. It would seem that although the power of the town was not evil in nature, due to a number of factors including the spread of an epidemic and executions at the prison, the power that this place held was greatly distorted. Furthermore, due to the large-scale shift to the otherworld that occurred in the first game, the town has become a great catalyst for the manifestation of peoples’ unconscious minds. It appears to have become a place that beckons to those who hold darkness in their hearts.

    Embody
The materialization of the darkness that sleeps in peoples’ hearts

In the town of Silent Hill, a power exists that gives discernible form to peoples’ innermost thoughts. As for the otherworld that appears in the series, the town is not merely showing the characters their nightmares, but actually manifesting elements of their unconscious minds.

    Calling
Those who have guilt are summoned

Due to the appearance of the otherworld on a massive scale in the first game, the town has come to be a place that calls those who hold a profound darkness in their hearts. It seems that people with afflicted minds are easily drawn to the otherworld.

    Link
    Transcending time, minds are connected

It would seem that in the otherworld, time and physical limitations are transcended and peoples’ thoughts are communicated. In accordance with this are the enigmatic phone conversation and Stanley’s letters in the third game, as well the director’s letters, among other things, in the second game.

The darkness of Silent Hill transcends the boundaries of the town?

In the third game, the otherworld appears even in the shopping mall and subway, outside of the town called Silent Hill. It is possible that this is due to Claudia’s abilities. However, if one imagines that the human mind is where the otherworld dwells and holds power, then perhaps the shift to the otherside could occur regardless of the location.

    Crematory Door

Burn the one who knows no death
    Pure, adored by those above
No prayers within, just simple love

    And now the pining hunter
The flames longing for his rebirth
A distant breath within the earth

Burn up that heavy body of his
Make it wind, dancing in the sky
That bottomless gut now a cloud,
    now a sigh

The sweet blood on his laughing lips
Now calls him to the gates of Hell
There burns evermore that soulless shell

    Four bodies return to ashes
    Thus the door is opened
    Thus the door is opened

    Fatal Accident At Hazel Street

At about 11 PM on the 4th, a man
waiting on the platform at the Hazel
Street station fell onto the tracks
and was decapitated by the arriving
    St. Renata College-bound train.
    The victim died instantly.

While police have not yet determined
whether the death was an accident or
suicide, witnesses report that the victim
did not look inebriated and seemed to
    jump off the platform deliberately.

    The victim's indentity is still
    unknown. He wa approximately
40 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall,
and was wearing a black jacket.

This is Fukuro Lady from Silent Hill. I usually do not like posting images that I haven’t yanked off something myself. I had to post this image because I was getting the ‘FUKURO LADY HAAS NO GREEN SHOES’.

YES. SHE DOES.  So lets say she is the reincarnation of Lisa Garland, invert red and you get some goofy cyan colour, Fukuro Lady’s shoes are some shade of cyan. 8[ mostly green. ANY WHOO, LOOK GREEN SHOES.

“Just before the shift to the otherworld in the hospital, the nurse Lisa who appears in the first game can be seen. The purpose of including this is to show that Alessa’s influence on the otherworld grows stronger as she regains her memories. It indicates that even after the first game she continues to suffer in the otherworld. Although a nurse appears in a similar fashion in the church as well, this does not have anything to do with Lisa.
    (Masahiro Ito)”

Didn’t Heather Mason say something along the lines of “suffering is a fact of life, either you deal with that or you go under”? Can’t we say the same thing about CHANGES?
